Gavel & Gown Gala
All School of Law alumni are invited to the 2025 Gavel & Gown Gala!
The theme this year is Mardi Gras. Join us for an evening of live music, no-pay casino games and enjoyable moments with old friends and esteemed faculty and staff. Whether you rock a jazzy suit, a playful dress, or your favorite purple, green and gold ensemble, make it festive and fun—just like Mardi Gras. Beads, masks and bold colors are welcome.
We will also celebrate the milestone reunion classes of 2005, 2010, 2015 and 2020.

8:00 p.m. – Champagne Toast & Heart of St. Thomas Law Award Presentation
8:15 p.m. – Casino Games & Music by Hurricane Blaze
8:30 p.m. – Class of 2005 photo on the stairs
8:45 p.m. – Class of 2010 photo on the stairs
9:00 p.m. – Class of 2015 photo on the stairs
9:15 p.m. – Class of 2020 photo on the stairs
10:00 p.m. – Casino Closes, Music Continues
10:30 p.m. – Prize Drawing
11:00 p.m. – Farewell (for now)
Registration
Tickets are $50/person and include heavy appetizers, desserts, a drink ticket, champagne toast, no-pay casino, dancing, photo booth and more. $10 of each ticket is tax deductible.
Registration will close on February 6.
