The Minneapolis Campus

Attending the School of Law in Minneapolis

St. Thomas School of Law occupies a beautiful 150,000 square foot building at the corner of 11th Street and Harmon Place in downtown Minneapolis, near the federal courthouse and major law firms and businesses. The building has several defining features that make it “quite simply breathtaking,” as described by an ABA site-evaluation team. Eight miles of indoor skyways connect the School of Law to downtown Minneapolis law firms, businesses, restaurants, shops and housing.

The law school is part of St. Thomas’ Minneapolis campus, which is also home to other university schools and colleges. St. Thomas has a main campus in St. Paul primarily for undergraduate students, however graduate students have access to several of the offices and services. A free shuttle runs between the St. Paul and Minneapolis campuses every 20 minutes (7 a.m. to 11 p.m.) during the fall and spring semesters.
