Judith Rush

Judith Rush brings nearly two decades of experience in teaching law students, developing and presenting programs for lawyers, and serving the legal profession, lawyers, and the public to the School of Law. Judith previously led a solo practice focusing on ethics and professional liability advisory, appellate, and family law in St. Paul. Judith taught at Hamline University School of Law as a full-time legal writing instructor from 1993 to 1996 and as an adjunct professor from 1996 to 2011, teaching Professional Responsibility and Legal Advocacy. She also taught Professional Responsibility as an Adjunct at William Mitchell in 2008 and 2009.

Judith is a frequent presenter at CLE and other programs for lawyers and law students. She served Minnesota's Disciplinary system for more than 18 years, first with the Second DEC, then with the Minnesota Lawyers Professional Responsibility Board, and most recently as Board Chair. Judith also served on the Minnesota Supreme Court Task Force on the Discipline System. Judith serves on the American Bar Association Co-Lap Law Student Assistance Committee and is past chair of Minnesota Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers. She is past chair of the MSBA Life & the Law Committee, founded and led its Law Student and Benefit Bike Ride Committees, and has been active with the Ramsey County Bar Association on its Board and committees.
