The Initiative of Restorative Justice and Healing offers a variety of programming, including a practical externship experience for law students and conferences, colloquia and webinars on restorative justice and restorative practices for the legal and broader communities.

Keynote speaker: Christopher White, Associate Director and Senior Fellow at Georgetown University Institute on Catholic Social Thought and Public Life
Fr. Daniel Griffith, founding director of the Initiative on Restorative Justice and Healing, moderated a panel that included:
- William Cavanaugh, professor of Catholic Studies and director of the Center for World Catholicism and Intercultural Theology at DePaul University
- Susan Mulheron, Chancellor for Canonical Affairs, Archdiocese of Saint Paul & Minneapolis

- Carolyn Woo, former President and CEO of Catholic Relief Services, former Dean of the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame

Justice and Healing for a Wounded Community
The murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis brought into painful focus racial inequities in the Twin Cities that have existed for years. The IRJH hosted a conversation with civic and religious leaders to discuss the past, but also explore the path forward for our community.

Our work responds to a growing demand for expertise and experience in the areas of restorative justice and restorative practices. The impact of your gift, short-term, will be seen in the outreach and training to communities and Catholic dioceses as we address harm, specifically in three focus areas:
racial justice;institutional/leadership failures; and
societal polarization.
